Ideally located in the heart of York – right on the River Foss – this lovely apartment is the ideal base for a couple or solo traveller looking to make the most out of the city’s historic sights. Though housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building dating back to 1812, this home is wonderfully contemporary, providing all the modern comforts to deliver a relaxing stay. The open-plan main room is a welcoming space with its plump sofa and bookshelf and the TV offers everything you need in way of entertainment – from an Xbox to Netflix – for when you’re not out exploring the city’s sights. With a pretty kitchen and a charming bedroom boasting a large, cosy bed, you'll feel right at home in no time. Outside of your apartment, you’ve got plenty to see and do within easy walking distance, including The Shambles with their overhanging timber-framed buildings (four minutes away), York Minster (ten minutes), the York City Walls (nine minutes) and the Merchant Adventurers' Hall, just a one-minute stroll from your door.
