While there might only be a couple of automotive companies standing in what was once the epicentre of US car manufacture, the apartment's decor harks back to the early Sixties, when Motown was rocking and cars were rolling off Detroit production lines at a record pace. Think elegant furnishings and retro artwork, all illuminated by plenty of natural light, thanks to the large windows looking out over the city. Downstairs there's a 7-Eleven to keep you stocked up on late-night snacks, and of course, Greektown isn't far away, with its fantastic restaurants and vibrant bars (helped along by neighbourhood-wide happy hours). Getting around on public transport is a breeze, and you can be exploring the Eastern Market or Detroit Institute of Arts in approximately twenty minutes, while the Motown Museum is just under a forty-minute bus ride away.
