On the outside, this red-brick building blends right in with Old City's traditional row houses and storied homesteads. But inside, it's bright, light and modern. The design mixes different aesthetics and styles to make a cosy and inviting space to relax and unwind – there's a touch of mid-century here, a hint of Nordic chic there, and lots of contemporary prints on the walls. Laze on the sofa as the light spills in through the grid windows, then when you're feeling peckish, let your culinary skills run wild in the kitchen. Our favourite spot, though, has to be the communal rooftop terrace. Head up there for unparalleled city views, which stretch from the city skyline to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. It's the perfect place to share a bottle of wine or nurse a local ale, watching the sunset on the water. When you're in the mood to explore, there's plenty to keep you busy.
