Start the day with an energising workout in the on-site gym. When you're in the mood for a dip, choose between the indoor lap pool, bubbling jacuzzi or sunny rooftop pool – all great options, if we say so ourselves. In the evenings, watch the sunset over the mountain on the communal roof terrace, or on chilly winter nights, unwind in front of the marble fireplace in the striking wood-accented lobby. For a more relaxed atmosphere, retreat to your private balcony with a glass of wine, followed by a cosy movie night – the Chromecast has plenty of streaming options. Outdoorsy types will enjoy the number of parks, mountains and trailheads nearby – our favourite is Genesee Park, about a half-hour drive away – and foodies can chow down at the assortment of international eateries, coffee shops and bars scattered around the area. But when you crave a bit more action, downtown Denver is a fifteen-minute drive away, so you'll still be close to the action.
