Built in 1863 and completely renovated in 2008, this mighty villa in the Epirus region of Greece combines historic features and quirky modern additions in a rather unique fashion. On the ground floor, the living and dining rooms are low-lit and heavy on wood in the decor, including a tree-trunk stool and a handsome light feature above the table. The next storey up feels like a different property altogether thanks to the white walls and the grey classical-style reliefs on the wall.
