Following the buzzing atmosphere of a Colorado Rockies baseball game, this serene apartment lets you relax after all the excitement, just 2 miles from the Coors Field. Near the highway is not always where you’d expect to find tranquillity, but this home’s modern, minimalist decor, and its proximity to the South Platte River trail (a nine-minute walk from your front door) create a calming atmosphere. The vast living space has a few subtle nods to the urban environment – think exposed pipework and black metal furniture accents – but also to the natural world. We love the palette of white and creams alongside pale wooden floors, and a mushroom-coloured sofa. Marble bathrooms and soft woven throws complete the look in the other rooms, while premium, eco-friendly toiletries and pantry products add another dimension to the environmental ethos. Through enormous windows, you can see city sights as a reminder of your surroundings, but it’s the balcony where you’ll spend most of your time. Skyline views, outdoor furniture, and a barbecue make this spot perfect for sipping bourbon until sundown. And if you can’t get enough of sweeping panoramas, head up to the communal roof terrace.
