The village of Coln St Aldwyns sits within the lush landscapes of The Cotswolds. This region is one of only forty-six recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – not a bad place to stay in a gorgeous stone cottage. At just a nine-minute walk from Coln Walk (a delightful circular route through beautiful scenery), and less than forty minutes to the city of Cheltenham if you’re in need of urban delights, this home has something to offer everyone. As you wind up its quaint, gravel path, you start to feel a true sense of rural isolation – but with a luxury edge. Inside, the decor is chic and stylish. We particularly love the glossy, white kitchen and dining space. Original, chunky timber beams line the apex ceiling, but marble-topped counters and spotlights bring that 21st-century luxe. Underfloor heating will keep you toasty in here as you walk through to the lounge – another fine example of countryside opulence. With books, games, and a wood-burning stove, you’ll be spending plenty of chilly nights here. And on balmy afternoons, admire the Cotswold stone walls bordering the tranquil garden – sit out with a glass of English sparkling wine before firing... up the barbecue.
