Nestled in charming Poets Corner, this Hove hideaway is perfect for a couple wanting to escape to the seaside. As far as locations go, you can't do much better – walk ten minutes south and you're on the beach, head eight minutes east and you're at Hove Station or stroll five minutes down the street for restaurants, pubs and shops. Best of all, Brighton is a quick ten-minute drive or taxi ride away. When you need a break from the sun and surf, come home to the cosy first-floor apartment and chill out in style. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, although we bet you'll spend most of your time trying the local eateries nearby. We think the crackling fireplace is a nice touch – on chilly nights, snuggle up in front of the flames with a drink and a good book or gather for a game night at the table by the bay window. As the night draws to a close, hop in the rainfall shower for a relaxing soak before retreating to the stylish bedroom for a restful night's sleep.

The beach is still the beating heart of this coastal city, with a long promenade, outdoor art installations and all the traditional fun...

Host
This home is managed by Dan
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Host Dan, his wife Amanda and their two kids live right down the street, so they're always on hand. Friendly and welcoming, they both love living by the seside and are more than happy to help with anything you need. Dan's big on the outdoors – when he's not running his youth snowsports charity, he's either overseeing the Kitesurfing Armada Festival or exploring the UK in his campervan.
