Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

This charming Victorian home belongs to Lord and Lady Monson, who have opened up a wing of the building to share with guests. As you might imagine with this aristocratic connection, there are lots of lavish details. The fact that there's a grand entrance hall says a lot in and of itself, but the hand-painted walls and original tiled flooring make it even more impressive than you can imagine. Elsewhere, there's a large collection of art hanging on the walls, some of it put up by the Monsons' ancestors over the past four centuries but there are lots of modern pieces, too. The bright blue dining room will bring a sense of occasion to even the most banal of breakfasts, while the mirror above the fireplace turns into a TV. And if that's still not enough for you, there's also a large basement games room complete with tables for pool and foosball. Surrounding the home is a large lawn perfect for croquet, but there's also a canal that runs by the property on which you can go canoeing or paddleboarding. It's also possible to walk to the centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon and its Shakespearean attractions in half an hour.
