Perfect for art-lovers and history-buffs, La Vetreria is a unique hideaway full of lovingly preserved rustic elegance. Set in an old glassworks studio, this loft-style space has been recently restored — by the architect husband of the host, no less — and you will find an eclectic mix of contemporary furnishings set against stunning original stonework and an impressive arch in the middle of the living space. We love the way this stands in contrast to the glass mezzanine bedroom. Located slightly away from the busy tourist spots, you can enjoy an authentic slice of Roman life whilst being an easy walk from Termini Station. If you're ever in the mood for ice cream, the much-loved Gelateria La Romana is just up the road.
