Nestled on the outskirts of Stow-on-the-Wold, this honey-coloured cottage is as idyllic as it looks. With views over the countryside and walking paths on your doorstep to Broadwell, The Oddingtons and their array of country pubs, this is a home fit for ramblers craving a romantic getaway. Head into Stow for the typical Cotswolds experience – independent shops, classic English restaurants and charming tearooms – or hop in the car and explore this AONB with ease. Back at home, character abounds – think exposed Cotswold stone, vaulted ceilings and French doors showing off the rolling hills. In the centre of it all is the wood-burning stove – a dream on wintery evenings – as well as a fully-equipped kitchen that makes rustling up Sunday roasts a breeze. But our favourite spot is the patio, where you can sip on a morning tea and listen to the birds singing or savour a glass of wine under the clear night sky. Although there's not heaps of space inside, it's delightfully cosy and perfect for two.
