Tucked above a charming pub only 500 metres away from Paddington Station, this apartment is well-placed for exploring. As far as locales go, it's as central as it gets. Not only is there an array of coffee shops, restaurants and alehouses close by, but Hyde Park is also a quick ten-minute stroll away – perfect for morning jogs and picnics in the summer sunshine. When you're not out roaming London, this second-floor flat is the ideal place to unwind. The pub below dates back to 1852, and you can see some of that traditional character in the glossy chevron floor, crown moulding and restored ornamental fireplace. We think it's delightfully cosy – especially the sumptuous armchairs in the window – and a couple or solo traveller will have plenty of room to make themselves right at home. In the mood for a homecooked meal? The kitchen is compact but has all the cookware you'll need to rustle up dinner before drifting off to sleep in the charming bedroom.
