Try a slice of Yorkshire life at this quintessential cottage, tucked away in the ancient town of Pickering, on the edge of the mighty North York Moors. Mosey down to the town's charming cobbled streets (twelve minutes on foot) to discover a steam locomotive railway station, some delightful pubs and tea rooms, and a medieval castle at its heart. And there's plenty to do in the lands beyond if you'd rather up the ante. The North York Moors national park is just a three-minute drive away (forty minutes on foot) and a little further, the mountain biking centre of Dalby Forest (thirteen-minute drive). Back home, this immaculately presented cottage is as bright as a button, with individual touches bringing warmth and character to the space. After days of immersing yourself in the local countryside, grab yourself a cuppa and a good book and get toasty beside the fire. Or spill out onto the sofas with a Netflix or Sky movie. In summer months, take sundowners out to the suntrap patio with an established private garden beyond - the perfect spot for some rest up after a day of adventuring. And when it's finally time to lay your head, climb the staircase to discover two pristine bedrooms with restful interiors. We'll leave you to decide who lucks out on that king-size bed in the main suite.
