Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

We've decided that this handsome home is just as charming as the Yorkshire countryside that surrounds it. Inside, you'll find all the comforts you could want for a country getaway, from comfy furnishings arranged around a log burner in the living room to the large kitchen complete with an Aga. The outdoor terrace with views of a bucolic hillside is sure to see some action too, especially with the presence of a barbecue for summer evenings. That being said, much of the interior is as contemporary as they come, especially the neutral bedrooms and the stylishly boxy bathtub that awaits you after a long ramble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There's certainly plenty to see nearby, from waterfalls, viewing points and even an art gallery in the local village. Although it's all perfectly peaceful around these parts, the historic town of Richmond takes just over forty minutes to reach by car if you fancy a slight change of pace at any point.

About The North Pennines

It’s official – the North Pennines are beautiful. Designated an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a UNESCO geological heritage site, this undulating area of North Yorkshire has spectacular scenery and a landscape that could tell the story of aeons gone by. Tiny stone-house villages and hamlets dot the valleys and cluster around babbling rivers – Bowlees is particularly idyllic and is home to the North Pennines information centre....
