Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and citrus trees, and situated only 150 metres from the peaceful Kanouli Beach, this sprawling villa commands outdoor living. The terrace brings with it the sounds of Mediterranean summers: loved ones splashing in the pool, the clattering of plates at the alfresco dining table, drinks poured over ice and the sizzle of the barbecue. Begin your mornings in the garden, reclining on a deck chair with a Greek coffee in hand. When the temperature starts to rise, cool off with a gentle swim or retreat to a shady nook. Nip inside to rustle up some breakfast – the floor to ceiling windows ensure you never miss a second of the glorious sunshine. In the afternoon, if you can convince big and little kids alike to take a break from the air hockey table, drive 3km to Korission Lake. Picnic by the shores and keep an eye out for flamingos stomping through the shallows. Brush up on your history knowledge at the Byzantine Fortress of Gardiki nearby, before heading back home to catch the sunset from your patio.
