This huge villa on the south coast of Syros is equally impressive inside and out. On summer days, you're sure to want to pass afternoons in the swimming pool full of multicolour LED lights and Jacuzzi, before whipping up a feast in the barbecue area. Just beyond this, there's a well-maintained garden as well as a private beach measuring thirty metres long. Although it faces tough competition, the interior somehow manages to match this. The all-white walls, floor and furnishings are instantly soothing and allow for some of the more characterful touches to really pop out, including bold pieces of artwork, rustic wood decorations and nods to the area's nautical history — the kid's bed shaped like a boat is particularly adorable. The gym and home cinema will be appreciated by some of the guests as well. In addition to the neighbouring seaside, the town of Ermoupoli takes only thirteen minutes to reach in the car and offers a range of historic monuments, museums, and a gallery. Gria Cave is under thirty minutes' drive away, too.
