Yet hop in the car, and in just six minutes, you'll be beside the sparkling blue water and white-sands of Choulakia and Agios Stefanos Beach. When thought's turn to food, nip down to Chora (aka Mykonos Town) for its authentic tavernas – it's just a ten-minute drive away.
