Large groups who like to spend time together yet each have a bit of privacy will love these four villas set on the seaside. Accommodation is spread across four individual villas, each with its own kitchen, breezy living room and fenced-off garden. Inside the pristine white buildings, it’s a soothing medley of sea glass against white and a natural palette of wood and grey. Meandering pathways snake between the villas, connecting the pool terrace with a full outdoor dining area complete with its own bar. A summer kitchen can provide alfresco meals and chefs can make use of the estate’s own kitchen garden, growing fresh herbs and vegetables in the Cretian sun. A full playpark with slides and swings lets you know this place is family-friendly, and the beach is just a 20-metre walk down a traffic-free path. Here, where the turquoise shallows meet the soft sand, you’ve got a private beach area just for your group. Sun loungers and a gazebo on the beach are the perfect way to while away the days. If you want to get out and explore a little more of Crete, the buzzing resort town of Rethimno is 9km away, home to bars, restaurants and a... long sandy stretch of beach.
