This bungalow on the Greek island of Naxos boasts sweeping views of the Aegean Sea, and it overlooks the island of Paros to the west, the island of Ios to the southwest, and the port town of Naxos to the home’s northwest. This home is also the only villa on the complex that offers the advantage of a rooftop patio for the best views as you lounge in the sun. Get your mornings off to a perfect start with a breakfast of local, fresh fruits from your welcome basket on the balcony before soaking up the sunshine. Then, cool off in your private infinity pool, where you can swim to the edge where the waters meet the ocean to admire the vista. Journey out for the day and visit Plaka Castle which can be reached within eight minutes by foot, or walk sixteen minutes in the other direction from this home, to Plaka Beach, where you can walk along the soft sands and listen to the waves lap against the shore. Head to the nearby village of Vivlos – an eight-minute drive away – for shops and restaurants, or why not venture further away and drive the fourteen minutes to the island’s capital, Naxos City. Here, you can visit the archaeological museum, the port, and see the Temple of Apollo. For more cultural experiences, the Archaeological site of Yria Naxos is only a twelve-minute drive from this home. What’s more, if water adventures are your thing, go diving at Paralia Agios Prokopios – a nine-minute drive away, or have fun at the waterpark that can be reached in ten minutes by car. In the evening, choose between dining at a local restaurant which can be reached within five minutes by car, or cooking up some Greek cuisine at home and enjoying it alfresco with the bottle of wine from your welcome hamper.
