Cool off in the pool as you take in the views down to the Port of Paros from this gorgeous apartment. Relax on the Parian marble terraces with a glass of ouzo as fragrant lavenders, jasmine and thyme envelop the outdoor space – we could feel our cares melting away within minutes of being here. Inside, exposed stone walls and whitewashed beams create a typically Greek interior. Whip up some kakavi, a local fish soup, in the modern kitchen or make a kefalotyri toastie with the sandwich maker. There’s a barbecue if you prefer to grill some souvlaki for lunch (alternatively, you could let the private chef cook for you). When you want to explore, head to Parikia, a nine-minute drive away, where you’ll find plenty of shops and fine restaurants down its narrow cobbled streets and around its harbour. There's an array of beaches if you prefer to spend the day by the sea. Livadia Beach is under ten minutes in the car, while Krios Beach is fourteen minutes.
