This amazing amphitheatre-style constructed villa is situated in Rodia, Crete – a mountain village often known as the ‘balcony of Heraklion’ due to its outstanding panoramic vistas which take in views on the sea, and of the famous Dia’s Island – an uninhabited island off the northern coast of Crete. With three different dining spaces under bamboo pergolas – that overlook the coast – you can start your mornings in the warmth of the early sun, breakfasting on koulouri. Then, lunch on Greek salads in the afternoon, and sip wine as the sun sets over the sea in the evening. Two fully-equipped kitchens, a barbecue, and a traditional stone oven, also offer the chance to cook up your own Greek cuisine to be enjoyed alfresco. When you wander the gardens with their rich greenery and Cretan terracotta pots brimming with geraniums, you’ll also be able to enjoy the unique sea views. Then, cool off in the waters of your private pool or unwind in the soothing bubbles of the four-person hot tub. Venture down to the sea itself with Pantanassa beach just a six-minute drive away. And then there's Heraklion city, where you will find the Minoan Palace of Knossos,... Koules Fortress, Heraklion Archaeological Museum, the Cathedral of St. Minas, and much more – around 13km away from your home.
