Paros’ ancient history, vibrant towns, and natural charm make it the most fabulous destination for historians, hedonists, and hikers alike. Known for its white marble, some of the most famous classical sculptures can thank this island’s fine resources. But Parian marble statues aren’t the only example of fine, white structures – this traditional Greek home is just a four-minute drive from the village of Alyki. Set upon the hillside among native shrubbery, the white walls of the home stand out against natural hues. Separated into two villas with a shared pool, you might want to use this space for a huge family holiday, or you may be enjoying cocktails on the verandah with your new neighbours. Either way, the sea views from the exterior are incredible. Inside, you’ll be provided with a generous welcome hamper of fresh fruit and homebrewed local wine. Pour yourself a glass as you explore the bright interiors. Elegant, white-painted beams, stone steps, and minimalist furniture make the living space feel airy. But in case of a chilly evening, there’s a slick, modern glass fireplace to keep you cosy.
