Welcome to 1968 in the Vista Norte neighbourhood of Palm Springs. Ok, so the decor has been updated to 21st-century standards since this home was built in the mid-century, but there’s still a bit of 60s flare to everything. Take the midnight-blue velvet sofas for example, or the canary-yellow dining room chairs. A chaise longue in front of the TV is definitely a mid-century touch. Stepping outside, the backyard is a playground for grown-ups with a cacti garden, fire pit and glorious swimming pool with an integrated Jacuzzi. There are plenty of spots for alfresco dining, either in the sun or beneath the stringed lights of the veranda. Either way, you’ll have a beautiful view of the desert mountains around you, practically glowing with golden light at sunset. Downtown Palm Springs is a ten-minute drive away and the area is dotted with Championship level golf courses. Heading into town you’ll find bijou art galleries, restaurants and shops galore to explore.

Additional fees

• From October 1st to April 30th pool heating is included in the rates – the pool is heated up to 87ºF and runs 7A-7P

• Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you for an additional €100 per stay

• The pool can be heated outside of these dates for an additional $50 per day – these fees will be requested after booking confirmation, but prior to your arrival
