It's not often that the words "cutting edge" and "contemporary" spring to mind on entering a historic apartment building, but that's precisely what we have at this stunning city-centre home. Located on the second floor, the interior has been completely revamped from top to bottom, with high-end finishes and luxurious materials throughout. However, the apartment has retained a sense of its history with occasional glimpses of hefty original wooden beams visible in the kitchen and main bedroom, plus shuttered French doors opening up onto a Juliet balcony that looks out over the neighbourhood. Down at street level, you're just a few minutes' walk from the bustling Puerta del Sol, lined with restaurants and cervecerias, while Gran Via, Madrid's most famous street, is under a ten-minute stroll away. In addition to the remarkable architecture, the road is lined with restaurants, high-end shops and plenty of entertainment options.

About Puerta del Sol
Puerta del Sol is the epicentre of the city and home to Madrid’s most famous meeting point – ‘Oso y El Madroño’, the bear with the strawberry tree. The central square of this neighbourhood is quite literally where all the roads in the Iberian peninsula lead to, which means it’s really hard to get lost if this is where you want to go. This area is popular both day and night, with buskers, natives, and tourists snapping photos of some of Madrid’s most iconic sights.
