This home ticks all the boxes for a stylish stay in Madrid. Located in the Salamanca district of the city, it's perfect for a group of friends or a family eager to explore everything the Spanish capital has to offer. The living room is a tranquil space, with high ceilings and plenty of natural light flooding in through the windows. There's an air of elegance, thanks to the parquet flooring, decorative fireplace, and collection of artworks adorning the room. Keen chefs can whip up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen, before serving their culinary creations at the gorgeous dining space – don't forget a bottle of Rioja too. However, if you'd prefer someone else did the washing up, then there are plenty of eateries in the surrounding streets. Head out to a traditional tapas spot, or indulge in an upmarket restaurant experience before rounding off the evening at a cocktail bar. Shoppers will be delighted that Calle Serrano, with its luxury boutiques, is just a four-minute walk away from your front door, while El Retiro Park is only a ten-minute stroll if you're craving some green space. And, for adventures further afield, hop on the metro at Velázquez station – it's just a seven-minute walk away.

Local guide
About Salamanca
Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
