Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Quite often when it comes to homes with balconies, the outdoor space can look a little bare or weather-worn. However, this apartment in central Madrid has a covered terrace that is as impeccably put together as any stylish interior, all thanks to the geometric tiling, chic barrier and equally fashionable furnishings. It's a lovely spot for some alfresco aperitifs or even an afternoon nap. As you would hope from the balcony, the apartment's interior is a design triumph, too. The living room is made to feel like a comfy enclave with a soft rug, pastel colours and shelves packed full of homely items. Add to that a generously sized kitchen and marble bathrooms, and you have an address that would rival any of the city's luxury hotel suites. When you want to see more of the city, you're in an excellent location to do so. The Golden Mile's designer shops and high-end restaurants can be reached in ten minutes' walk or so, while Parque de El Retiro takes just over a quarter of an hour on foot.

About Salamanca
Salamanca is Madrid’s most glamorous and prestigious quarter. Usually associated with aristocratic façades, wide avenues, and luxurious living (atypical for Madrid’s cosy centre), the neighbourhood attracts domestic and international elite. It’s also home to many embassies and private schools, as well as niche museums and designer boutiques along its ‘Golden Mile’. The demanding clientele has made the food scene equally exclusive, but while you’re likely to find quite a few Michelin-star restaurants in the area, there are lots of relaxed tapas bars for those less willing to splash the cash.
