Located in Madrid’s stately residential Chamberí neighbourhood, this bright, colourful apartment is an ideal base for those looking for a slice of calm and relaxation in the city. Glossy parquet floors, contemporary furnishings and vibrant pops of colour in the decor create an immediately inviting welcome in the open-plan living area that’s bathed in light thanks to the large windows and glass doors here. Open these up to step out onto a private balcony – the ideal spot to catch some rays over breakfast and enjoy the tranquillity of the communal courtyard garden below over sundowners. Speaking of the courtyard, this is where you’ll find the shared pool that invites hours of swimming in its refreshing waters during the summer months. Back inside, fix yourself a homemade tapas feast to enjoy at the dining table and retreat to your comfortable bedroom – equipped with a desk – for a wonderfully peaceful night’s sleep. When it comes to sightseeing, make a beeline for the Sorolla Museum (a ten-minute walk away) or cheer on Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, just over twenty minutes away on foot. You’re also a short Metro ride from Gran Vía’s shops (twenty minutes away) as well... beautiful El Retiro Park (twenty-five minutes) that beckons leisurely afternoon strolls.
