Modern, bright and ideally located on the edge of Madrid’s Barrio de las Letras neighbourhood, this apartment puts you in a prime position to experience the city in style. Glossy parquet floors and contemporary furnishings create a snazzy welcome in the main living area. We love the shuttered French doors that lead out onto a Juliet balcony – the ideal spot to perch with your morning coffee while taking in neighbourhood views – as well as the bright blue chairs around the dining table that beckons homemade tapas feasts aplenty. The bedroom, meanwhile, is equal parts traditional and modern with its plush blue headboard and yet another pair of country style shuttered doors giving way to an equally charming Juliet balcony here too. When you’re not chilling out in your sunny pad, go out and explore your surroundings. You’re just a seven-minute walk from Puerta del Sol, a ten-minute stroll from Plaza Mayor, while beautiful El Retiro Park is twelve minutes away on foot. Fans of literary history shouldn’t miss out on visiting Cervantes’ childhood home too, a three-minute walk from your door.
