Located in Corfu’s Kefalomantouko district, this grand mansion was built in 1870 for a wealthy merchant and his family, and it maintains much of its 19th-century charm including the archways, spiralling staircase, heavy doors and Venetian blinds, however, it has also been refurbished to provide all the modern conveniences you could possibly need. Start each day with a breakfast of Greek yoghurt and honey eaten alfresco bedside the pool with an amazing view of the turquoise, Ionian seas. Or take advantage of the balcony seating for a more elevated vantage point of the stunning views. Then lounge in the sunshine or slip into the cooling waters of your private swimming pool. Make full use of the available driver and the vehicles on offer to explore everything the island has to offer. Spend the day at Alykes Potamou Beach – just a five-minute drive away, visit Patytera Monastery which can be reached in just four minutes by car, or have a family fun day out at Toys Waterpark – also a four-minute drive away. Venture slightly further and you will find Corfu Old Town – reachable within ten minutes by car. Here, you can explore the New Venetian Fortress, Spianda Square,... the Archaeological Museum of Corfu, and much more. Return home for dinner time and enjoy delicious traditional Greek meals cooked up by the private chef in the home’s professional kitchen, and dine outside under the shade of the pergola. As the sun slips away from view and the night turns colder, why not make use of the fireplace indoors. Curl up and enjoy the warmth of the crackling flames as you sip on a glass of wine from the mansion’s very own wine cellar.
