If you're looking for tranquillity and amazing views of Lake Como – look no further than this romantic retreat. Enjoy the vistas from Como to Cernobbio and Villa d'Este up to the picturesque villages of Moltrasio and Carate Urio from your private balcony with a glass of wine. You can admire the Lario (the local name of Lake Como) from the living room and the double bedroom on the mezzanine too. There's also a large, shared veranda here where you can have meals. Inside this lovingly converted barn, the home has charming character features such as exposed stone walls and white painted beams. It's decorated with Lombard style furniture and hand-embroidered linens. Put some vinyl from the collection on the turntable and rustle up a tortelli di zucca in the kitchenette. If you don't fancy cooking, there are a couple of restaurants 200 metres away, while Como, with its Basilica di San Fedele and gorgeous Giardini del Tempio Voltiano, is twelve minutes by car.
