Only half an hour's drive from the ever-glamorous Cannes, this two-hundred-year-old farmhouse perched upon a hillside brings some Provence charm to this corner of the Côte d'Azur. The address is wonderfully green, with a blanket of trees providing some welcome isolation and bougainvillaea growing along the stone walls. It makes for a peaceful spot where you can pass carefree afternoons paddling through the swimming pool, dining under the pergola or playing boules on the court. Given this rustic exterior, the home's inside is perhaps more contemporary than you might expect. The stark white walls play host to some boldly coloured pieces of artwork, while the farmhouse kitchen has a shiny range oven for cooking up some French cuisine. We're also fans of the pretty mosaic tiling in some of the bathrooms, too. As well as the coastline not too far away, the town of Grasse is just over ten minutes' drive away and offers a number of perfume factories that use locally grown flowers to visit. The vast Parc Naturel régional des Préalpes d'Azur lies on your doorstep for when you fancy an afternoon out in the great outdoors.
