Situated in the Lot department, just south of the Dordogne River, this cosy 18th-century home is a wonderful place from which to explore the enchanting Occitanie region. Inside, original timber beams and stone walls have been lovingly restored to create a warm and inviting ambience. We loved the convivial living space with its squashy sofa and fully-equipped kitchen – ideal for those who like to flex their culinary muscles. When you’re not playing board games at the dining table, you’ll be out on the terrace, sipping a café au lait and watching the day pass by. Spend afternoons playing badminton before cooling off with a swim in the private pool. Later on, take the bicycles out for a spin through the surrounding countryside or why not jump in the car and explore the quaint medieval town of Sarlat-la-Canéda – it’s only a thirty-minute drive away.
