It turns out style and practicality aren't mutually exclusive – you can have it all in this sophisticated villa on Croatia's west coast. With its own private pool, sweeping staircase and dazzling decor, the four-bedroom home puts every guest immediately under its spell. The effect? Once you've arrived you won't want to leave. Except to go to the beach, perhaps, which is a mere twenty-minute walk away. Luxury is in the bones of this property, from the super plush sofas and button-back headboards to the ornate tub in the master bathroom. When it comes to places to dine, there's no shortage of indoor and outdoor spots to choose from. Enjoy breakfast on the patio and lunch inside with the French doors thrown open. For dinner, we suggest venturing beyond the villa walls to the nearby town of Poreč. Here, you'll soon stumble across tempting waterfront establishments serving traditional seafood. Wander into the old town and catch sight of the gem-adorned Byzantine mosaics in the Euphrasian Basilica.
