Perched on a hillside above the charming fishing village of Vasiliki, this seaside-inspired cottage is a heavenly couples’ hideaway. Inside, it’s all whitewashed clapboard, natural tones and lofty ceilings that create a bright and breezy atmosphere. Mornings begin with a traditional Greek breakfast on the sun-soaked terrace. When the temperature starts to rise, cool off with a dip in your private pool or pick out a lounger to work on your tan. In the afternoon, take the five-minute drive to Vasiliki Beach. While away the hours paddling in the shallows and snacking on plump olives in nearby tavernas. Return home before dusk with a bottle of Assyrtiko wine and settle in to watch the sunset glow above the gentle waves of the Ionian.
