But best of all is that just a step or two from your giant sliding doors is one of the most magical infinity pools we've seen. Floating in the water here, which wraps around one side of the villa, it's hard to tell where the pool ends and the sea begins, and where the sea's shade of blue meets the sky's. This has to be one of the best views in the world. From here it's just a two-minute drive to Mikri Ammos beach and five minutes to Sivota, where you'll find a picture-perfect harbour lined with restaurants and shops – all backed by the area's rugged, green mountain range.
