Located in Rome’s elegant Parioli neighbourhood – a maze of tree-lined avenues, elegant palaces and lush parks – this modern apartment is just the ticket for those seeking a calm and quiet base with plenty of style. Step into the large open-plan living room where contemporary decor and shades of black and white create an instantly zen-like welcome. We love the huge sectional sofa that beckons hours of lounging with a good book and a glass of wine and the dining table that’s ready to host intimate Italian soirées. Our favourite feature, however, is the private leafy garden with its terracotta tiles, sun lounger and table – the ideal spot to catch some rays over an alfresco breakfast or to enjoy a sundowner before discovering your neighbourhood’s local trattorias. With a peaceful, comfortable bedroom to boot as well as a sleek bathroom boasting a luxurious rainfall shower, you’re all set for a carefree time. When you decide to venture out for some sightseeing, make a beeline for Villa Borghese (a twenty-minute walk) or spend an afternoon exploring the MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Art, also just twenty minutes away on foot.
