This lovely family home can be found in Selinunte, a charming historic town in the south west of Sicily. Here, you have everything you need for a fantastic getaway – sandy beaches, piazzas with restaurants, bars and shops, and a delightful villa set amid an orchard and lush garden. The villa is bright and comfortable. Large windows in the living room let light flood into the house, adding splashes of the garden’s green tones to the colourful palette. The bedrooms lead out onto balconies, so you can begin your day by breathing in the balmy air and admiring the views. This villa benefits from a countryside location, so the views are lush and green, stretching over the grounds to the rolling rural landscape beyond. You can spot the sea in the distance – the nearest sandy beach is just twelve minutes away. After a morning splashing in the surf, drive to the Selinunte Archaeological Park to take in the incredible Greek ruins. For real R&R, head out to the villa’s pool – on a hot day, the water is so inviting. After a dip, lie out in the sun and revel in the peace and quiet. The outside space... is a haven of flowers and trees, so all you’ll hear is the faint hum of insects and the water lapping the edge of the pool.
