Offering heaps of French charm, this villa stands out for its laid-back designs and stunning countryside location, just a twenty-minute drive away from the sandy shores of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Spread across two floors, the villa invites an abundance of natural daylight that bounces off the white-washed walls and terracotta flooring in multitudes. We particularly love the open-plan layout of the main living area, which follows an archway through to the dining area, with a cute country-style kitchen just off the side. During the warmer months, you'll likely want to spend most of your time outside in the grassy garden, where you can soak up the gorgeous mountain views peaking over the greenary of the plants and trees surrounding the property. Lounge by the pool on the sun loungers, taking refreshing dips in the water when you need to cool off. After blissful days of relaxation, rustle up some local French delicacies on the plancha-style barbecue to serve at the covered terrace dining area. Continue the soirée with some local wine and a spot of table tennis before hitting the hay in the tranquil bedrooms. When you're ready to do some exploring, hop in the car for day trips out to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz and other local villages of the Basque coastline. After all, this is one of the most sought-after regions in the world when it comes to surf, good seafood and quality gastronomy.
