France’s northwest coast is a perfect melange of historic towns, striking cliffs, and sandy beaches. While you’re soaking in French culture, it’s hard to believe that you could cross over to England in under two hours. But an easier trip would be to head to the beach at Le Touquet in twenty minutes, which is just what you can do when staying at this country manor. Built in the 18th century, but remodelled one-hundred years later, this home is rich in heritage. Its walls certainly have a few tales to tell, but the first has to be the story of the garden. In fact, it would make for a hefty tome. Your acres of private grounds play host to a tennis court, heated swimming pool, formal courtyard, boules and croquet lawns, woodlands, and dining terraces – phew. While you’ll be spending most of your time out here, the interiors are also something to behold. Elegant and opulent, the decor tells a tale of romance and joy. Bright colour schemes come through terracotta tiled floors, plush blue sofas, and sumptuous red cushioned dining chairs. Discover period furniture everywhere you turn, as you play lord of the manor in the original wood-panelled salon. More wine, please.

About France
You could easily take a lifetime’s worth of French holidays and still feel like you haven’t scratched the nation’s surface. The most visited country in the world, France has long inspired artists, revolutionaries, dreamers, and bons vivants with its storybook landscapes, artistic treasures, and cultural idiosyncrasies. Paris is, of course, the country’s glittering centrepiece but there are countless beauty spots worth discovering outside of the City of Light. Sun yourself...

This home is managed by Oliver
This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.
