An idyllic cottage retreat for a family holiday, this spot in the stunning West Charleton Grange invites guests to relax, unplug and reconnect with nature. Nestled in a small secluded, sheltered valley – the cottage is ideally situated for exploring the South Hams, only a few minutes from the estuary and a fifteen-minute drive from many family-friendly beaches in the area, including the sandy shores of Salcombe. Inside the home, playful pops of colour contrast beautifully with the modern countryside style interiors boasting a high-quality finish. An inviting space throughout, the living room, in particular, provides a cosy setting where curling up around the fireplace is a given. Meanwhile, the bay window and perfect positioning of the table and chairs offers a serene spot to lap up views of the luscious green gardens. With many on-site amenities to make the most of, parents needn't worry about keeping the kids entertained here as guests have access to an indoor heated swimming pool, children's playground (equipped with a lawn, swings, a slide, a wendy house and football goals) as well as a short tennis court. Set off on long country walks through the blissful surrounding countryside until you wind up at the market town of Kingsbridge – just 2 miles away. With an array of shops, cafes and tea rooms waiting to be discovered, it offers the perfect ending point to an adventure on foot. Also, within easy reach by car, you'll be located equal distance between the sandy beaches of Bantham or the pebbled beaches of Slapton Sands.
