You can drive into the centre of Elounda in ten minutes, to stroll through the charming streets and dine on regional dishes at the local tavernas. The larger resort of Agios Nikolaos is sixteen kilometres away, and from there you can visit sandy beaches and learn about the area's links to Greek mythology. And, should you fancy a day trip, hop on a boat to the neighbouring island of Spinalonga to learn all about its rich history.
