900 metres from the striking Faro de Trafalgar lighthouse, this villa sits on the coast of Spain where long stretches of sandy beach meet the Atlantic Ocean. The closest town is Los Caños de Meca where restaurants look out over the beach, and it’s just a fifteen-minute walk to the centre. Beaches here are made for windsurfing, and it’s a blissfully quiet spot on the Spanish coast. Sleek modernity is the theme at the villa, surrounded by a perfectly manicured lawn. Glass walls let the sunshine stream in, especially in the stylish living area which can open up to the terrace outside. We love the architectural details like the internal glass courtyard displaying pot plants like works of art. There’s something zen-like about the buddhas, botanica and candle lanterns throughout too. Outside, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained in and out of the sun. Dining for the whole group is on a covered patio, plush sofas sit on the veranda and there’s a big lawn for the kids to run around with football goals and a basketball court. And when the heat gets too much, you can slip into the pristine swimming pool to cool off.
