The building in which this apartment sits has quite an interesting history. In the 1930s, it was opened as a wedding boutique and it served the brides of New Orleans for fifty years before it was turned into an Irish pub. Today, it's a stylish collection of homes. The high ceilings and tall windows have been retained, which lend a sense of airiness and also bathe the interior in natural light. The stark white walls and wooden floorboards accentuate this gift, as do the selection of metallic and glass furnishings, from the tables in the living room and dining area to the sophisticated gold lamp. We can't not praise the minimalist kitchen and bathrooms while we have the opportunity as well. Although there's a shared balcony within the building, there are too many attractions nearby to spend too much of your time lazing. The Ogden Museum of Southern Art and the National Museum of World War II can both be reached in around ten minutes' walk, while there's a huge array of restaurants in the Warehouse District just beyond that.
