Like a scene stolen from a 19th-century oil painting, this elegant apartment in Paris’ 15th arrondissement is a vision of aristocratic chic. Boasting romantic interiors full of richly coloured textures, decorative chinaware, antique furnishings and gallery walls brimming with gilt-framed paintings, there's no shortage of Parisian Old World charm here. The living room has all the trappings of a Belle Époque drawing room with large French windows bathing the space in light. Make yourself comfortable on one of the wingback armchairs – a glass of bubbly and a book in hand – or gather around the polished wood dining table for a French feast as the lights twinkle outside. The canary yellow bedroom is just as swish with its ornate wooden headboard and plethora of paintings and we love the Juliet balcony here – the perfect place to perch with your morning coffee. While the home is a regal step back in time, the bathroom is 21st century through and through with a power tower shower to get mornings off on a luxurious foot before a day of sightseeing. Speaking of exploring, you’ve got plenty to see and do within walking distance. Take a stroll along the banks of the Seine (a twelve-minute walk), explore the Parc André Citroën (a twenty-minute walk) and visit Paris’ emblematic Eiffel Tower, also just twenty minutes away on foot.
