We consider this stunning estate a true gem and a rare find – resting on the banks of Potomac River, within a tranquil, private community, it is a whole, glorious world to itself. Just the first glimpse of the outside of this imposing house offers a promise of a restful stay – an impression which is only reinforced by all the green space surrounding it. The bright and spacious interior offers more than a touch of luxury, and we cannot get enough of the breathtaking views of the river, courtesy of the grand windows, which flood the large living area with plenty of natural light. This is a perfect place to relax, with huge, comfortable sofas, and a fireplace for cosy evening snuggles. All the bedrooms offer unique, stylish designs and plush beds, guaranteeing a great night’s rest. Factor in all the added luxuries, including our favourite – the private movie theatre – and we think that this is a hard one to beat. The close proximity of both Downtown DC, which is a fifteen-minute drive away, and all the surrounding areas, means that you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this property’s surroundings, while at the same time feel perfectly connected to big city life.
