An urban oasis, set along a quiet residential street in London's well-heeled Highgate, this beautiful flat offers comfortable, tranquil spaces both inside the flat and out in the flourishing garden. Your hosts have made use of vibrant colours on the walls and furniture to contrast with the usual London weather, while the stunning glass roof of the rear extension provides an unmatched view of the cloudless skies when they do appear. A gas stove keeps things cosy over the winter, with bifold doors able to slide back for seamless garden access on warm summer evenings. Out here, in addition to the sounds of nature, you'll find an impressive home office that looks back at the house, with space for a couple of guests on the sofa bed. Back inside, a well-equipped kitchen sits at the back of the main living space, with the floral charms of the bedroom a short hop and skip up a small flight of steps. The location is hard to top, with Hampstead Heath, Highgate Village and Highgate tube station all just a few minutes' walk away. There are also no fewer than four of the area's best-known pubs within a stone's throw of your front door, meaning you can test them all out before settling on a favourite.

About Highgate

Situated on one of London’s highest points, Highgate village boasts brilliant views over central London and the expansive greenery of Hampstead Heath. It is an affluent area and it has long been this way, which is reflected in the period architecture. Your neighbours will mainly be successful business people and well-off families, but Highgate has also become popular with celebrities wanting privacy, both living and dead: Highgate's cemetary is home...
