This charming refurbished barn conversion is perfect for those wanting to explore the English countryside from a comfortable base. This home has everything you need for a restful break. The house can be found tucked away amid the rolling countryside of the Cotswolds, just outside of the ancient village of Shipton under Wychwood. A twenty-minute stroll will take you to the heart of the pretty village, while a ten-minute drive will get you to Chipping Norton and Burford. There’s no shortage of cosy pubs to call into, whether you’re after a post-hike pint or are on the hunt for a Sunday roast. Back at the cottage, curl up with a book in front of the log burner and feel the stresses of daily life melt away. This is the ideal place for taking a break – you can’t help but relax if the only sound you can hear is the gentle crackle of a fire. Sipping a glass of wine helps, too.
