If you like the idea of a romantic weekend that includes long walks on the beach and such like, this apartment in Saint Leonards-on-sea will be just the ticket. Being up on the third floor, there are marvellous views of the beach from both the living room and kitchen. Inside, the styling feels cool and contemporary, thanks in no small part to the exposed brickwork, array of house plants and the vintage map on the wall. As well as the seaside barely two minutes' walk from the front door, the local area is full of quirky attractions, including bars, boutiques and seafood restaurants. Hastings Castle can be reached in just under twenty-five minutes' walk and the High Weald AONB is a quarter of an hour away in the car, too.
