Come sun or snow, this charming timber retreat offers the perfect mountain getaway high in the Italian Alps. Located on the ground floor of a traditional alpine building in Livigno, the apartment is designed to be as flexible as possible, with a sleeping arrangement that's sure to suit. Up to four people can be comfortably accommodated here, with two of the guests choosing between either a double sofa bed or two pull-down bunk beds that emerge from the wall, with two further guests in the tranquil main bedroom. A compact kitchen contains everything you might need to whip up apres-ski sustenance sat around the dining table before exploring the traffic-free streets in the centre of the resort, a couple of kilometres up the road – with a free ski bus linking the town. Interestingly, the area has held duty-free status since the 16th century, meaning your money goes that bit further. The area is fast establishing itself as one of the most exciting resorts in Italy and is set to host some of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Easily accessible slopes for all levels of snow sports enthusiast make Livigno a fun option for families and mixed-ability groups.
