The Italian Alps offer charm and excitement throughout both summer and winter. While ski resorts like Livigno have enough excellent terrain to draw the snowsports crowds, a relaxing stay in lush mountain scenery wouldn’t go amiss in warmer months. In a similar way, this home allows you to experience both sides of the region. Just a five-minute walk from the nearest ski lift, this studio apartment is more than handy for skiers and snowboarders. But as the sun beats down in the heat of July, it’s equally wonderful for picturesque bike rides (courtesy of your host). Either way, you’ll be in need of relaxation afterwards – that’s where the sauna comes in. Beyond the wooden porch and pine interiors of this modern building, the luxe spa sits on its own floor. With beanbags and a chill-out area next to the glass door to the sauna, you’ve got plenty of space to kick back if it gets too hot.
